2022 ERC Public Events
The NASA Kids Day & Careers in Our Corridor Fair took place for middle school and high school students on November 29th and 30th, 2022.
Partners provided technology demonstrations or hands-on activities involving STEM content specific to their work, informed students about internships and/or additional outreach opportunities, and provided insight related to career pathways and preparation programs.
Groups are selected to attend for one day, which starts at 8:00 a.m. and concludes around 12:30 p.m.

Join Todd Ensign as we explore the physics of flight with kites and use a 9 foot kite to collect aerial data using sensors attached to a kite!

Museum visitors get some hands-on experiences flying drones through an indoor obstacle course that will be set-up by RCBI while also letting them learn about NASA's Dragonfly mission with a small coding-based drone challenge.
Design your own space mission and build an unfolding telescope, orbiter, or surveyor with LEGO bricks in an Engineering Challenge. Join Josh, an Education Specialist at the NASA IV&V ERC, in a talk with demonstrations on infrared light and observe the First Images collected by the James Webb Space Telescope this summer!
